Entertainment Soution For Radio Content

Description

Our customer was a company operating in the field of digital marketing and interacting with advertisers, affiliates, and end-users. The customer’s business focused on providing their end clients with a multitenant app (aka script) and giving them a license to use it to run microtask-based marketplaces. The app system features a combination of sophisticated referral systems, earning systems, and wallets. The customer’s particular objective was to add the new Radio streaming module and alter the UI to ensure a better user experience, as well as to enhance the app security level. The main purpose of the Radio streaming module was to allow end-users to earn money online by listening to radio stations. As for the UI updates, the main idea was to ensure the best possible UX for end-users. The task was to optimize their interactions with the website and make the User Panel more tailored-fit and distinguishable from other microtask earning websites.

Challenge

The main issue for the customer was the fact that their system had become outdated - it was built in the mid-00s. As a result, there were obvious problems related to security and vulnerability. It was even hacked on several occasions; moreover, the cyber criminals successfully withdrew money from it. Finally, the system's UI was too old-fashion and inconvenient to use. To sum up, the system was developed on the basis of obsolete technologies that were impossible to refactor.

Solution

Our team offered the customer an optimal path to update the system interface and add new modules while preserving their resources. The development team created new endpoints for the old back-end of the application. As a result, it became possible to create a new front-end for the app. In addition, our team envisioned a new design, updated the app interface (i.e., its front-end), and added new modules to the system. It was also important that these modules were completely based on a modern technology stack. Also, the security systems were enhanced.
